To change the items you mentioned will be an easy task if you can turn a wrench. The fuel filter is under the passenger rear door, (order new hose clips). The plugs should only need changing (we have a coil on plug design) The coil connectors can be easily upgraded with the Granatelli COP's these have a better conductor to the plug and are cheaper than 150.00 for all 8 from JC Whitney
Start with this parts list http://web.mac.com/mwhite26/Site/Parts.html and go for it.

you shouldn't need to replace the fuel filter clips on these if you push in the clips rather than attempting to remove them. i've changed a ton of fuel filters and haven't broken any.

I dont know about your MM but mine doesnt have the blue pushy ones. you have to remove them to change the filter.

If you take your car someplace to replace the fuel filter, you'll be banned from this site.

Really, dude, it's WAY easy. Like 5 minutes if you've done it before, 10 if you haven't. All you need is a 5/16" nut-driver to remove the hose clamp securing the filter to the bracket. The connector clips can be pushed out with your fingers. Just be sure you wait half an hour (more or less) after running the motor for the system to de-pressurise, so you don't spray petrol all over your face.

The plugs are actually quite easy as well. Remove the little covers in the cam covers, unplug the COPs, pull the COPs straight up and out, then use a standard peanut plug socket with a medium extension. BE SURE TO DO THIS WITH THE MOTOR COLD! Put a teeny-tiny bit of anti-seize on the threads and install the new ones. USE A TORQUE WRENCH! We have aluminium heads and the threads will strip if leaned on too hard. Put a small amount of silicone dielectric grease in the end of the COP boot and reinstall. Don't worry about keeping track of which COP went where...it doesn't matter.

I got mine from Wes at Innovative Interceptors (vendor here). I'm not sure if Dennis sells them, too...

$100 was the best price I could find

The last time I looked at WChain's site it stated he was no longer selling them
