'98 M'8 motor

What is the difference between the Mark 8 DOHC, and ours. i have a '98 dohc up for sale in my area and looking for a reason NOT, to buy it.... Some1 help me..

upper intake is different, doesnt use COP's, makes 10-20hp less

why would you want a motor thats 5+ years older than the MM?

Also I believe the heads are different.

Different style heads, with ports that are not compatible with a Marauder/Cobra style intake.

If you can get it cheap enough you'll have a hell of a block. Good Ole Teksid. I've got one in my garage waiting for our 01' cobra project. :)
