For sale is 2003 Mercury Marauder. There are only 40,000 miles on it. Car is in excellent shape and has been lightly modified. Car has been profesionally lowered with eibach springs. Windows have been tinted. A JLT cold air intake has been added on. A new Ford 4.10 gear set has been added along with a 3000 stall converter. This car can really launch now. A badgeless Grill has been installed. I still have the original grill if you would like to re-install it. A Lidio Tune has this car running and shifting perfect. A catback Flowmaster exhaust system is the only other modification. Car has been pampered since I've owned it. Got to pay some bills so this car has got to go...........Title in hand

Sounds like you will have no problems selling it. If I didn't have one I'd be interested.

So the OBO part of the post is not valid then?

10,000 to 11,000 for this car is not a BEST OFFER in my opinion.

You may not LIKE the offer, but they are the BEST you've received...

Hi,
When you say slightly modified that is a turn off for many folks. As soon as I saw it was lowered that told me no way. I understand folks wanting to modify the cars to their own likes but when you do that you are cutting off at least half of the potential buyers. It costs a lot to modify the car but you need to find that special buyer who was going to do the same mods and wants a deal. Another thought comes to mind is the car has most likely been raced or driven very hard (why else for the mods). I am not trying to be a jerk but I cannot believe the money people are asking for modified/raced cars. There is a reason the car has not sold since Dec. Good luck with the sale but you should have taken the best offers.

10,000 to 11,000 for this car is not a BEST OFFER in my opinion.

So what you are saying is don't tell anybody about what you have done to the car. To the naked eye you can't hardly tell it is lowered, you wouldn't know if it had a different gear, or stall unless you knew what a stock car felt like when you pushed on the pedal. To anybody just looking at it you couldn't tell if it is stock or not stock. Also why can't people modify daily drivers to just get more out of them. My car has never been raced, I just hated the way the car shifted and the acceleration when compared to my Impala SS. I guess from now on in my adds I'll just say stock Marauder. You brought up some very good points. I appreciate the input. I will take that into consideration when I put the car on Auto Trader if I can't sell it off this website.

Good plan, because what you think is a best offer will not get it done here.

Wow I think that is a very good deal. Those mods cost 4K easily (with labor)

I'd buy it if I didn't have one already.

Sell me your badgeless grill please?

I am not saying you should not tell people what has been done to the car. In fact if you find the right person who understands what the mods are and was going to do that anyway then you will sell it. But, some folks who want a stock car or want to do their own mods would pass on yours and keep looking. Good luck with the sale. It may just take a little longer to find the right buyer.
