Very odd. This morning after starting the MM, I heard a clicking sound that appeared to be coming from inside the driver's door panel. It almost sounded like the clicking of the turn signal. I worked over all the door buttons, door lock buttons, window locks and heated seat buttons. It went away after about 5 minutes .... but was really annoying at the time. Have never heard it before today.

Any ideas on what it might be?

I have never hearf of anything like this before charlie.
Try taking the panel off and inspecting behind it.
Are you sure the sound was coming from there and not somewhere else???

Sounds like you need to buy a new car... Maybe a jaguar or a maybach?

In seriousness though, maybe the window motor was being retarded and trying to close?

Pretty sure it was from inside the driver's door panel.

Didn't sound like the window motor -- but that is why I worked all the buttons. However the clicking continued for awhile.

Charlie, I had to get a replacement switch panel in the driver door when she was a year old do to one on the switches corroding, messing with the function of one of the windows, and you guessed it clicking coming from the bad contacts. Hope this helps.
