Im getting real tired of all the bs threads lately and was hoping if I put these three guys on my Ignore List at least I wouldnt see their threads. That doesnt seem to have happened. Can you tell me what the Ignore List does? Thanks!

You'll see that I have posted in the thread, but it will say something like " You can't see this because O's Fan Rich is on your ignore list.".

But you will still know that I posted in the thread and it'll drive you crazy not knowing what word of wisdom I expounded to the unwashed masses.....

I tried using the ignore list too but it wasn't satisfactory. Sometimes the very person on my list posts something I want to read.

Just have to pick and choose and not let it become a "burr in your saddle ".

I tend to agree, although I've never used the ignore option. I have said many many many times in my life to a lot of different people: "I will listen to the village idiot if I think he has useful information." Just because someone is a pain in the butt or a complete fool doesn't mean you can't benefit from them, even if it's just learning how they screwed something up so you don't repeat it. Doesn't mean you have to be friends with said village idiot.;)

Do not chew tinfoil.

Wow! Thanks!

You know, it would probably be just that easy not to read the posts of people whom you don't like?

It would, but then we would not be able to read the posts of people complaining of reading posts they do not want to read.

You forgot about the people complaining about the people making fun of the posts that no one wants to read.

Which is about as far away from Cars as it gets. Next, the site will get renamed 'MercuryDramaQueen.net'.

Isn't that why there is a lounge? So ppl can just bs?

Its not much different than: "Will space shuttle tires help the MM at the dragstrip?"

We do most of the BS in the shoutbox. As far as the shuttle tires go are they sticky? Will they stick out? Where can I price them? How long will they last? Will this mess up the traction control? What about the ABS system?:D
