I had a front coil spring broken on my MGM, recently.

Fact is that there was no spare coil spring available ANYWHERE and I had to wait more one week before a new pair was found. Does anybody knows whether the MM is using the same coil springs as on the MGM ? And are those ones available somewhere ?

2003 MGM front coils have spring rate of 220 lbs/in; 2003 MM front coils have spring rate of 325 lbs/in.

I believe there may not be anymore OEM MM springs in the retail market; you may only find used. But it's a different spring rate than that of your MGM anyway...

As an alternative, go to RockAuto.com and view their aftermarket front coil offerings for either of your vehicles.

This company has produced many custom springs for Panther owners:

Do you have the handling package on your MGM or is it the standard version?

I bought it second hand 3 years ago and I do not know whether it was equipped with the handling package. The model is the LSE, with the shifter on the floor and the 239 HP engine...

I just know that considering its weight, that MGM's handling is excellent !

If you have dual exhaust you probably have the handling package. The MGM and the CV Handling &Performance Package have their own unique springs and shocks.
In the CV HPP the front coils are a little lower then the Interceptor springs and the spring rate is less then the PI.
I'm sure there are HPP springs out there for MGM/CV HPP.
