speed control inop

My cruise control (speed control) is inop and have a 1000 mile trip soon; I never use it but I will on this trip if it worked. Checked my Ford maintenance disc and they only reference the Marquee cruise control. Any help would be appreciated, no buttons work at all.

Is there a fuse just for the Cruise?
Could also be the multi-function stalk or the connection inside the steering wheel for 'finger tip' controls.
