I now have had my Marauder for 2 weeks. I love it, but would like to bring it up to it's full potential. My husband and I did replace the air filter w/ K&N and installed a "Jet" chip. Summit Racing said it was the only one they had for this car. The improvement was noticeable, but now am wondering if that was the right choice. I am interested in a super charger, but need to know the degree of difficulty with instal.
Thanks for your help,
Jacki

Oh you lucky you. Check some of the supporting vendor forums for available performance mod's. They range from simple T-Stat, Plugs and UD Pulley's to S/C from Trilogy (Detroit area), Dennis Reinhard (FL) and Kenny Brown Indy. There are several chips available for the MM.
Good luck and welcome

Welcome, and you're in the right place. I would start out with the sponsoring vendors on this site and work from there. All seem to possess the knowledge and dedication to this particular vehicle when it comes to upgrades. The most sense, IMHO approach is chip, pulley, plug,t-stat, and gear upgrades, followed by airflow upgrades, i.e. headers, exhaust, intake (which you seem to have started to address with the K-N filter). Good luck and enjoy the ride.

Thx for the responses. I sent a message to Dennis Reinhart, so I hope to hear from him soon. I have spent some time looking around on this site and I think I'm more confused now. I don't know the "lingo". I'll learn, but wow is it a lot!!
Thanks Agian, any more info is great!!

Welcome to the club,
i'll throw in my .02's. Instead of asking whats available - ask yourself what do you want out of your car? Performance goals, reliability, appearance / style, sound system, suspension - each of these catagories can be altered.
i've built a lot of cars and i think asking the ? what do i want from my MM is a valuable time and money saving question.
this site and the folks whom make it are VERY helpful and knowledgeable. Cruise the site, participate in discussions, make some friends - then make a plan if you want to change your MM - with this site and the people whom support it there will be correct no BS type answers. This will save you time and money.
I talked to Jacki for an hour tonight.
She's steering in the right direction now!!!

I'm hoping to go with Stage 1. I spoke with Dennis. Now I wait for my husband to mull it all over... The waiting always kills me!!!
Thanks Everyone for all the input.

Well, I just came from the dealership... New service guy. All I can say is I wouldn't let him rotate the tires much less do the Stage I.
Pathetic.
Ok now that I have that out. I'll go with Dennis' recommondation in Cleveland.
Thx
Jacki
