He was nice enough to sell me some rear tires at a very reasonable price. He must have saved me about $200. I have needed tires for over a year and to be honest with everyone I didn't know until recently that the factory BFGs weren't even worth waiting for.
When I went to Pep Boys today they wanted to charge me $42 to switch the tires. They got to the car really soon, but couldn't get the stickers off of the tires. I went over, got the stickers off and shot the breeze with the guys while I was working and told them all about the car. Only one guy in the whole store knew what a Marauder was and the rest were more than happy to learn.
At the end of the service they gave me the keys and said "You're taken care of boss." I asked why they didn't charge me and they said I'm there often enough. LOL!!! :lol: But the guy told me to be sure to take care of the guy that changed the tires. I gave him ten bucks and he was happy.
Soon as I drive the car I felt an instant difference. It's nice having the "hookup" again. Not to mention the nice new stance it has with bigger tires.
