I am supposedly in contact with the owner of a 2003 Black Maurauder with 19,000 miles. It used to bin in Ohio then Wisconsin, now in Canada. The owner says health and third child is making him sell it. If anyone lives near there and could check it out I will get the exact location. I do not expect anyone to do it for free, let me know if you would check it out and what your fee would be. Thank You for any help that can be given.

This sounds like the NSX's I tried to chase down only to find they were a scam from Romania.

Originally advertise in Florida.

Hi

I have a friend in Chicago who would like to have a look at the NSX, to check it out for me.

Would this be possible?

When and were in Chicago is it?

Thank you

Hi,
Sorry but the car is already to the shipping company in a trailer ready to be shipped.
The deal will be finalized with the help of ClickandBuy
I will try to tell you in a few words how works the deal through ClickandBuy.
ClickandBuy service accepts and hold the payment from the buyer until the buyer receives and approves the vehicle. Only then they forward the payment to the seller. The payment will be made in 2 deposits:
First you will send 3000$ and you will receive the car. After you will decide to keep it you will send the rest of 3000$.In case you won't like the car,you just have to annouce ClickandBuy and you will receive a full refund in a couple of hours.Shipping back is on me.
If you decide that you want to buy the car,you will provide me your full name and shipping address.ClickandBuy will contact you with more info about the process (payment, protection policy, etc.) They will guide you through the process so we can complete this deal successfully.

See Romania!

Not who you want to be buying a car from.

The English is ok (better than my wrong usage of were) except for the lack of understanding of how to type money up.

Can you get the VIN for it? If so, PM RoyLPita with it and he can run an OASIS report on the car.

Also, a link to any on-line ads, etc. would be helpful so that so that others can check out the info and maybe identify the car.

As an example of these car scams. Which they even pretend to be dealers now.

http://www.autoguidefl.com/details.aspx?adnum=136707&utm_source=vast&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=VastFeed

See same car different price and phone number. Different mileage too.

guess which one is a scam?

and to avoid federal law they ask for 1/2 up front and then disappear.

Thanks so far for the info. I got a reply back from the so-called seller tomy iquiry; Where is the car located in Grand Prarie, Canada? I would like someone to come check it out. HIS Reply; In canada.

Sounds like a scam to me! I was afraid it was since he was asking $5800.00 for it. Oh well I tried.:mad2:

It's a scam. 100% I was going to volunteer 10 hours of my time if you could nail it down to a street address, but if the guy can't even get the Province correct and narrow it down to an area larger than Texas, he's a scammer. Canada is a veeery big place. If they don't know G.P. is in Alberta, I'm not going to waste my Saturday.

Can't trust them Romanians. ;)

Glad you caught the scam before it got out of control. Good call on asking specifics on locations and trying to have someone check out the product first.

I've never bought (or sold) anything on craigslist further away than 50 miles, and I always make it a daylight face-to-face meeting in a public place, preferably with line-of-sight to a law enforcement agency. No one has tried to scam me yet, but I always advise being safe rather than sorry.

Hahaha i can just see the meet happening in my head. Its even funnier because most MM lovers also have ex-cruisers. Imagine showing up looking like a cop and them crapping their pants. :cool4:

Can he run these reports on a car that I already own?? And what kind of info can he pull up?? I have some back tracking and research to do on the mm.

I'd be willing to head up there for you and take a look. PM me if this deal turns out to be real and if he can figure out what his address in Grande Prarie is. If the car looks good I can do a registry search for you as well which I belive will show any liens against the car as well. I think Dr. Caleb is right though.... the correct answer to your question would have been Alberta, Canada. Got my fingers crossed for ya though... it's a hell of a deal if it's for real!
