I have noticed a few people selling their old rear ends.... that's right I said it. I want to know if this will hold up with my car. I am only considering this because cash is tight.
Will this last or is it stupid to even consider this?

Dom,
If you want it, I still have my limited slip carrier and 28 spline axles, they have about 20 thousand miles on them and are currently just taking up space in my garage.

Dom, 12,000 miles thus far on mine and no issues to speak of. Yep, bone stock.

There's a little bit of difference of driving style between you and Dom though Bob.:burnout::burn::drive:

Dom, he's right. If you've got the self-control to lay off the loud pedal, it should last for a long time. I know, that kinda defeats the fun of having a Procharger car, but as the old saying goes, you've got to pay to play. Either wait until you're got the cash to do the job right, or you'll have to modify your driving style until then.

I am still on the stock rear end, just keep street tires on it and it'll last a while, I'm at 30K miles

I have 201K+ miles on my OEM LSD and it still does the "Two Stripe" very well!!!:bows:
New axles and bearings at 177K but the OEM LSD was still in spec so nothing was replaced in it!!:shake:
I don't flog it relentlessly, do burnouts or drag race but I drive it pretty hard!!
Go for it Dom and see what happens!!
