Does anyone know what the warranty on the kooks set up is??

I have had the long tubes and the x pipe for almost 3 years...

The headers are great, but I have a few holes in one of the cats that I discovered today...

I am considering just cutting the cats out if there is no remaining warranty (which I doubt).

Any thoughts?

Has anyone tried a setup with no cats?? Any potential issues?

I am still using the oem mufflers and tail pipes which still look great, I had magnaflows but I thought they were too loud.

With the smog inspections you guys have to go through in CA? Try major $$$ fines,$5 or $10K or so,probably at least statewise and maybe the Feds too!

I just moved here, I passed the smog check no problem, the car has a novi s/c and long tubes, all I had to do was get the proper paperwork...

Of course they don't allow no cats, but they dont actually look under the car.-- The most they could make me do is repair the car to oem exhaust specs. (put the cats back)

I'd figure a way to gut the stock cats and put them back in place in case somebody does look.Maybe somebody has a set that are plugged they removed you can pick up cheap and gut them.
