Had a chance to meet up with Chad (Chader) in Calgary during my Alberta road trip. We cruised from Calgary to Bragg Creek, took some pics, had some lunch and cruised back. Awesome guy and I'm sure we'll be meeting up again soon! Unfortunately, Chad got a $400 stunt driving ticket just as we got started (just a burnout around a corner ....damn). And he still had enough cash to buy me lunch...(I did try to get the bill though). Heres some pics. Enjoy.

Ouch, $400 ticket for a burnout!

This is what I think of when I read "stunt driving". If you were doing this, you deserve the ticket. Othewise it seems a little high for a squeal and smoke show.
Sux about the ticket, 400 seems steep.

not just you black
Not with me, its scrolls down easily. Try checking your monitor size, or using (Ctrl&-) (Ctrl&+)
Oh and sux about the stunt driving ticket, seems a bit much, which is why I reserve my smoking to abandoned parking lots!

I could give all the excuses in the world but that fact is, I have spent more money and had less fun in the past so I will have to say it was worth it...at least that is what I will keep telling myself...lol. I actually am more worried about the points it will take?
We had a great time, thanks Derek, I hope we can do it again soon!

Just wasn't in the cards this time. My stay in Calgary was cut down from 4 days to 2 with one day fully devoted to family. Also didn't have internet access to let him know. Next time for sure though.;)

on another note? Has anyone asked to get a traffic ticket reduced, and if so do you have to wait till your schedualed court date or can you go down to the court house anytime?

Chad, here in BC you'd need to wait til your court date to say your piece. Let me know if there is anything I can do. I witnessed it and I'm pretty sure you were just trying to avoid traffic at the turn and accidentally went into boost due to the supercharger....least thats how I saw it.;) Fishtail was unavoidable.

so... you can go to the court house any time before your court date(in business hours) and plea bargin. So I did.....long storey short. It was dropped to unnessary noise with no points taken off and $115 fine. I am the happiest guy in town!!
Moral of the storey....always go for plea bargin, it saved me approx $300 and 6 points, which equates to not walking and a new set of tires...almost...

I guess the one thing I need to remember is, just because I got off lucky does not mean I need to drive like a jacka$$ when in public.

Yup, that and the Mustang clubs around here do more local stuff (cruises etc) so I've been on those boards for a bit. Trying to cut back on MM.net to only checking tech data, not the soap opera stuff.
I come back, and see Reinhart post about the MMX driveshafts....some things never change.:shake:

You going to the final race at Race City Chader? Sept 12, 13. I am told Sue (WCMA) is planning something special.

I suspect not, my high school reunion is that weekend....I think I would have more fun at the track.
