The SCOA Bi-Regional meet will be held this year at The Orange County Choppers World Headquarters in Newburgh, NY. The Car show will be on the 15th.& the cruise will be on the 16th. The Host Hotel will be the Hilton Gardens which is right next door to the OCC headquaters. Parking lots are back to back, so space is abundant. Food vendor is set up and the DJ will not be a problem. This will be a judged show, with many classes for Saleens & Mustangs. the boys at OCC have been a great help with the planning & are offering many items, discounts & tours for all attendees.More info to come.
There will also be a concert on stage inside the showroom from one of the local music studios. These kids get togiether in the summer and reherse for this performance. It is there finnally for the summer. i believe there will be 3 or 4 bands performing with kids ranging in age from 14 to 20 years old. THERE WILL BE A LOT GOING ON.

a group of Nissan/350z owners recently did the same thing...I unfortunately didn't make it, but the pictures made it look great. They have a real nice place there.
:( If I still had my truck, I'd be all for it.

I'm glad I saw this post. I live about 5 minutes (literally) from OCC headquarters. I'll be easy to find, I'll have the bib on to catch the drool.

Just got back from the meet, sweet Ford muscle everywhere! YLWNOR's Mustang has an unbelievable paint job. Me and my son just stared at it. One of the nicest cars there, no doubt. Smoke, was that your Marauder in the front parking lot? It was the first car I looked at when we walked in. Very nice indeed! I had to park my car in the upper lot and got pissed because of the muddy grass, it messed up my tires something fierce. My car must have looked good when I got there because the kid that was directing traffic asked me if I was putting it in the show. Unfortunately I had to leave early because of a computer problem at my dealership.

Yep, that was me..."other" category stuck in the "other" lot...not a big deal, a real low-maintenance day (didn't detail or even pop the hood!)...Could've gone over into the "main" parking lot later in the AM but didn't feel like moving the car...
Nice day...HOT HOt hot!

All in all not a bad day...they had the A/C on full in the showroom so you could go in there and mill around or hear the kid bands playing (neat competition)...shop tours (tho the place was quiet....full of trikes being done up...must be their next OCC bike)....food/water/shade were around if you needed them....the Saleen crew seemed like a decent bunch.
Best,
Jonathan

The vette? What? I may have given that one up if he/she/it was in the "X" category...the only reason think of this was because when I was getting ready to pull out an organizer came over and was real concerned I was leaving. Asked my name and looked up my registration form out of a handfull he was carrying. He asked if I was staying and I stated no and he followed up with "okay, I'll take you out of the judging" (referring to the paperwork he had in hand)....dunno...
And the Contour? Really? They can't even vote for themselves the right way can they? :D They did seem to have a TON of trophies versus the amount of cars that were there....maybe they ran out of things to vote on ?
Nice show, not one for the ages but certainly a nice way to spend a Saturday.
Thanks for posting up Bob!

J

I know what you mean about the guy(?) with the Vette. WTH? That turbo'ed Contour was nice, but Best in Show? I liked that 71 429 4-spd Cougar personally, very nice, rare car. I guess I should have parked down next to you and showed the SilverSport. Thanks for representing the Panthers.
