I have the F700BT installed in the Mach1 and while driving I get a loud to quiet humming noise. It sounds like when a cell phone interfears with the radio, but it is constant. Even when our cell phones are not on or even in the car it does it.

If I shut the car off, and turn it back on, it usually goes away, but sometimes comes back. I have the GPS antenna mounted inside in the very middle of the back deck panel. Is this causing the problem?

Did you bypass the factory amp? It will cause this when running high power into it. Also double check the grounds.

the factory amps are not bypassed, they are active and working. is this what is causing the hum?

I did a second check of all grounds when I installed it because we were having problems with it not letting us set the navigation. I had a ground problem then, and all of them had been double checked and fixed.

thanks

The factory amps can cause this. Sometimes when you run the deck power you can take them out with to much current going into it. Other than that contact whoever you bought it from. It has a one year warranty if it is the deck
