I'm thinking about doing 4:10 gears in the near future and need some shop advice.
I'm in Lakeland, so I'm looking for something close by, maybe in the bay area if I need to go that far. Any recommendations?
In Orlando I was happy with LaMotta Performance

They replaced my timing wheel for me - had a tick and that's all it was. Very honest shop, could have told me anything.
IIRC Oldekid had them install his 4.10 and muffler delete (he told me of them).

. Maybe he can get you a better price, at the very least it will be done right . He is a member of the group and has 2 Marauders . A really nice guy.

My cousin lives in Mulberry and has connections all over the automotive spectrum there. I can ask him for a place he recommends if you would like. I would bet $50 hes going to say Remco Transmission in Plant City, though. I had them build a T-5 for my camaro and were the only ones who were honest about what was wrong with it.

I've used Gear Works in Clearwater for all my rear axle needs. All they do is differentials, axle shafts, etc.... Been there 3 or 4 times always great service and ready when they say it will be. Never had an issue and know several guys who have used them for anything from their drag cars to off road vehicles.
