E-Dubb came to pick me up the in wife's Esacpe last night rather than the Bluesmobile...no headlights.:mad2:
Got home and checked, I've got the amber running lights, and the high beams flash on when you pull back on the dimmer switch; otherwise, nothing more in any of the headlight switch positions.
I first thought LCM, but symptoms aren't the same as last time I had issues.
Anybody have thoughts/suggestions?

Mine is doing that right now, and mine is the LCM, I'm having trouble with my warranty company! Try tapping the LCM a few times when the lights are out, mine come on when I tap it.

Confirmed, it is the LCM. Tap on it and the lights pop on. Don't know if it's the relay or another issue with the printed circuits. At least for now I can get the lights to come on until a can get a repair made.

Rex, if you need the relay changed and you don't want to do it, send me the LCM.

Rex, I thought you already changed the relay?

Are you replacing the small relay inside the LCM with a similar one and soldering it to the board like the original? i would consider using a regular Bosch 5 blade relay as it may carry more current. Just splice the wires from the LCM connector and tape the relay to the LCM.

Yeah, I changed the relay around Christmas, and no problems until last week.
If I reach under the dash and give the LCM a light tap, the lights come on. I'm going to look for another LCM and do the retro-fit that frdwrnch suggested. If I gotta pull the driver's seat to get to the goofy thing again I want to fix it right this time.

That's what I'm wondering, especially with the "tap fix." Lights pop right on, so I'm thinking it's a connection issue. We'll see.

did you just replace with the same relay? If you did it could just have gone bad again

That would be awesome! When are you available? I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off, let me know what's good for you and I'll make it happen.
Thanks, Sean
