I am 1.5 hours from Muncie so I will be down on Friday. I will be staying in Indy with family Friday night so Saturday Morning I will only about 15 minutes from the Indy 500 track. If anyone wants to venture north to Auburn I would be willing to host a tour of the Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum http://www.acdmuseum.org/ , The Victory WWII and car museum http://www.kccmuseum.org/, and NATMUS http://natmus.org/. These are three world class auto museums about 2 hours north on 69. It takes more than 6 hours to go thru these museums.

If anyone does not want to eat at Hoosier Park on Thursday night, Anderson has a good root beer stand just down the road a little. The name of the palce is Gene's Root Beer, and this is what I came up with when I did a quick web search http://www.lukecole.com/root%20beer/Luke's%20root%20beers%20-%20Gene's.htm I do not know if the prices shown are current.
