You may not get any feedback from TMF, he left the site a couple of weeks ago.

As noted in TooManyFords previous thread, he would make it. *Roll-cage didn't get installed.

CoreyM75, GreekGod, Pops, and myself met-up at noon on Saturday.

Let's see .... Had a ½ hour drive to get within a mile of the expressway exit. Traffic was backed-up on the shoulder. Took another ½ - ¾ hour to get to the rendevouz point. *Except for GreekGod in MadMax ... He played state police with lights-on, bypassed the plebians, and jumped line. :nono:

Weather was great.

Gotta say ... They didn't waste any time getting the cars thru the rounds.

I left right after you Joe. The qualifing went well! A friend of mine stayed till the end. They finished up around 1AM! I never made it to the pits. It looked like most racers had high dollar rigs over there. I had a good time!:)

gdmjoe:

You have a beautiful LX Sport CV and a really great web site. Curious as to what is the HP of your NA 2 valve engine?

I was there for the show, my brother's boss was the one that ran a yellow 1966 Chevrolet Nova. On his second pass, he pulled too much of a wheelie and ran over a divider cone/ box thingie and almost wrecked. He was too fast for the group that they picked, but he hopes that he will at least make the show for his mistake. I took a picture while he was trying to flip his car and the Nova was a good 45-55 degrees from the ground.

I met some members (listed above), I would have liked to talk more, but my brother was there to help his boss. It was a good time and really neat to walk the pits and see the insane amount of money that some drivers have spent on drag racing.

The 2000 CVPI was really sweet, I was in awe of it while I was behind it in the line to get in.

So, I guess I missed something - how about TMF? Any pictures?

TMF did not have his roll cage done so he did not go. AS far as pidtures I do not know if any one took any. It was so crowded that I doubt you could have taken many decent ones. Of course you might of had some of the girls that were there!:D
