Is there a "full size" version of the FL820S oil filter? It seems like there is plenty of room on the MM for a full size oil filter instead of the little half size filter it uses. Will a PH2 work?

Ford just changed the size of their FL820S...made it 1.25 inches smaller.
Not sure if a PH2 will work? probably not!
Go to Napa for a NAPA Gold filter...full size for the Marauder.

I got an older larger one last week when I got mine changed at the dealer, I guess I should go back and buy all they got.

Will a PH2 work?If by that you mean a FRAM PH2, yes it will work but will be a HUGE downgrade in quality compared to the Motorcraft. Canister size has nothing to do with media size and certainly has nothing to do with quality.

That 1/4" makes it just a tad bit easier to turn it to pull it out faster with less spillage.

Yep, NAPA Gold here. Some claim it's one of the best.

Thanks again, Bob for the warning about FRAM. When you go to the NAPA store for your filter, take a look at the display....the POS one is a FRAM.

I've been using the Motorcraft filter, but I will definitely try the Napa Gold next oil change.
