This sight never sees-is to amaze me, anyway got my fuel pump in and the MM is running better than ever. Fairly easy install, "for a first timer that is". Thanks Zack, for previous pcts on fuel pump mods, and thank you all for all the help and advice.

Glad that went well. Did you end up having to lower the fuel tank to get the pump out?

You do not have to drop the tank to swap the pump. You just need to lower it enough to get the wiring harness off of the top of it on the Pass side...

My new GT-40 fuel pump is on it's way. Been going to "school" on the threads concerning this change. Awaiting my mechanic, Jason the Honda Mech, to get back from Army duty, possibly early August.

Hope the pump doesn't quit entirely before then.

I didn't ask him if he had to drop it. I asked him if he had to lower it. And for the record, I did not even need to do that to get the Ford GT pump in mine. He and I had discussed this previously, which is why I was curious how it went for him. Some seem to need to lower it, some don't.
