Aug. Z-max-Draging--To Pricy!

Finally got onto the web site checking the schedule for the Aug 6-9th drag race and car show at Z-max and found the schedule which is confusing , at least to me, and then the BIGGIE! Below I pasted the cost for the event --Now I see why they did not post the cost for racing your car---you
should see the race schedule--

Anyway--$125 is too much for me to race what amounts to be a bracket type , or even a heads -up-,and be eliminated too quickly---.especially since I was only looking to race Saturday ONLY--.....not my kinda fun--I'll just wait for when my MM is ready when I say so and when----maybe a test and tune night --hopefully for about $20-25 that night----


I'm not interested in winning money --thats probably why its so expensive --to pay winner $$--now--not my kinda event I was thinking ---the SSSH seem more my likening--

Since I'm only going to participate in the car show on Sunday this is how I see the pricing:


Spectrator (car show, corral / swap, drag racing) - $25.00
Car Show Participation - $25.00 (to show your car)
Swap / Corral - $50.00 (this is for a spot to sell / swap cars & parts)


So when I show up to enter the car show I'm expecting to pay $25.00.

I agree $125.00 :eek: to drag race is way too expensive. I'd never pay that. :down:

Yes I did see the information. I was at zmax tonight and made 22 runs for $15 dollars. not a bad night. 92 deg and 100 hum. I was spin on launch and 1-2 shift car would brake loose. Had a good time. ONLY 54 cars total for the night. I could have made more runs but did some turning with my sct to see if I could make my runs better.

If you can help me get mine set up for next month --would love to run with ya---your runs are getting better even with the heat!

Yeah--those monthy test and tunes are the best $$$ for running--not what I posted above.
