Here is a immaculate 08 GT we finished tuning yesterday, the car is immaculate, it came here and the tune that was in the car was way to much even for this motor, running 23 PSI at 21 degrees timing on non race gas, is playing with dynamite, so we ordered a KB 3.25 pulley, added 72 pound injectors and set the BAP to run all the time, the car has a powder coated roll cage cobalt Gage's, 3:73 gears and the mammoth KB Twin Screw, LTH and the wheels tires and brakes alone are probably close to 10K this car will make the magazines.

Pretty car!
But . . . aren't the slots on the rotors facing the wrong way? :(

doesn't matter which way the slots go anyway, the vane direction is what actually matters ;)

Just curious. I'm installing my Wilwoods this week, and the instructions say the leading edge of the slots should be the inside.
/ if the wheel is rotating <-- instead of \ like this Mustang. Must be manufacturer preference or something.

The rotation/slot direction is different by manufacturer.
I had that same set of wheels for my '03 Cobra vert, Steve at TrueForge is awesome and you'd be surprised how inexpensive they actually are for the quality you get. Those are TrueForge Chicane RS's and they're more spectacular in person than in pics, car jewelry indeed.
That is one fine Shelby.

Thats because the rotors use directional vanes, IE the air vents between the inner and outer rotor faces are directional, so the instructions are telling you witch way the slots should go based on the vane direction of that rotor ;) Some rotors have wavy slots, slots going both directions, and all sorts of funky shapes... it's the directional vane that matters :D

I'm just wondering how you get in with that side cage bar in the way, does it snap out of the way for entry?

Call it what you want, I made the car safer 22 psi and 23 degrees timing and 750 RWHP on a stock motor, and pump gas, is not the way to go. and that is what Jim wanted. Was a safe tune so we lowered the boost and retuned it.

That is one wicked ride...Thanks for the pics Dennis!
BTW, how did that manual tranny conversion pan out in the end? I lost track of it amid all the whoopla and was really curious if it worked out as well as you had hoped and if the owner is happy with the end result. I would love the extra HP to the ground. If it ever became something that was more of a straight forward install I think some other MM owners (including me) would be interested.

Wouldnt that type of KB manifold make it possible to run a Kenne Bell on the MM's? You know, without having the intake run down the passenger side and all?

That is a very cool car. One of our members has one, its got the polished 2.8H. It made 808rwhp with straight C16 in the tank and 650rwhp on straight 100.
They are really fun and fast but to be honest its such a big car it really dilutes the power.

You would have to lose the windshield wiper assembly. The intake is HUGE!

Is there anyother drivers side intake mani? Maybe the terminator?

Terminators are passenger side... I have seen a saleen M90 on a grand marquis with the intake flipped upside down to go on the drivers side, on drock96marquis' car... dont know if he had to trim the wiper cowl or not...
Its not hard to put the battery on the drivers side and the intake on the passenger side, or you can run a really long dryer hose :D
