That is a great price, I'd buy it and repaint it, it's not that bad.

If I could pick it up for 5k, paint, I have a spare set of wheels/tires, I could have a SB as a driver. :D :burnout:

Not a bad price at all. If all that is wrong with it is the paint and those rims. How does someone get that many scratches on a car?

Who knows, maybe it was a gangbangers car.Rumor has it they were popular for a while here in Chicago among gangbangers as they were big fast roomy 4 door cars and the Impala SS supply had dwindled.
Not a bargain though,$8500 for a car that needs a $3-$4K paint job,the wheels and tires replaced and has a salvage title effectively negating any value selling or trading it in in the future.
And who knows how bad the drivetrain has been abused and what if any maintenance it's received.
It might be worth $5K or so to someone who's good at working on a MM like Zack or several others here or someone who's good at doing body work and painting to use as a daily driver but even then they'd have to keep it forever and part it out down the road to see any decent return on their money.
Maybe Brian has a list of salvaged MM's and can add the VIN to that list or to the totaled list, whichever would be more appropriate.

That's an easy fix with that paint scratch filler. Where's Billy Mays when you need him?
Oh wait, forgot. Damn.

You would be "paint scratch filling" for weeks. Too bad someone who was armed didn't catch the vandal with that sharp shiny instrument in his/her hand....:shake:

The remaining question is, how bad is the interior since they decided to NOT show it?...

Looks like the Carrie Underwood edition of the Marauder .... without the smashed headlights. :(
I am not crazy about the wheels or the chrome grill. Fixable; but its gonna need a complete paint job.
It takes some seriously disturbed turds to do that much damage to a car. I hope the bastige that kicked in the right side lower panel broke his foot.

After looking more closely at the interior shots, I think there is evidence of water damage. What stands out is the rust on the driver's seat left support. Also the interior trim above the carbon fiber looks suspicious. Engine bay shots don't help either.

"...This Marauder was given a Rebuilt Salvage Title in 2004 caused by a collision in the rear quarter panel. The car came to Cleveland Pick-A-Part this year as a vandalism vehicle. ..."
If you look at the pics, the driver's door doesn't look like it's aligned properly either. :shake:
Stay away, far away.

I say its bastardized just like the paint, if I had to guess. Looks like a ghetto owner. Probably never changed the coolant or oil either.
Font end was smashed too that grille isn't stock is it?

Doesn't mean it was in a wreck... If you go on ebay and look up marauder stuff, some people are selling factory (or chinese knockoff) grand marquis grills to "Bling up your rauduh"
Hence... what you see

This car is worthless...stay away. Now way in hell can you have all that body damage repaired and have the car painted for 3-4k. My guess is a minimum of 5k. And thats for just an average job. Factor in the salvage title, and all the other gremlins that I am sure exist and we are talking.........worthless. I wouldn't even buy the thing for 5k.

I'd buy it for 5k as a parts car. Pull the motor and trannie. Do something special with them. Sell the rims on craigslist, some guy looking to pimp out his CV or GM would love them.

The dash looks like someone took sandpaper to it and the paint job to fix THAT kind of scratch damage will be $8K+!

How does it have traction control on a 2003 300A? I thought you only got that on the '03 300B and then in all 2004's...

It is not a 2003 300A. It appears to be one of the crossover vehicles since it has traction control and map pockets in the front seats; but no remote fuel door release. The front seats may have come from another MM since the VIN is considerably after mine for the '03 MM run with the VIN to this Marauder is: 2MEHM75VX3X707387. I suspect that it was a March-April 2003 (Maybe even April-May 2003) build late in the '03 production run.

That makes even more of a shame that someone ruined that MM.
