I put 4" Megs unresonated tips on mine and like the sound. Not a whole lot louder, just a bit throater rumble. If you want louder, consider going with Flowmaster or Magnaflow mufflers.

I also had the 4" Megs delete tips with OEM exhaust....not much louder but it did make a good differnce.....then I put on some new mufflers and sounds wicked now.

Did 2 1/2" exhaust w/ custom "X" from the manifolds back...... hi-Flow Magniflow cats, and mufflers, to Mag 4" tips. Was loud as hell and I loved it.
Gonna do it to the Banshee as soon as funds free up.:burnout:
What are you trying to do?

If you want loud just cut off and straight pipe the second converters. That made the most difference of anything else. Delete tips or Flowmasters dont make the LOUDNESS you crave dump the converters and WOW...:burnout:

i cant decide on the flow masters super 44 or 40 series delta flow
ive heard the 44, ive been told that the delta flow sound is the same as the 44 but less cabin noise
i just want louder outside with little to none inside, plain and simple

The 44's will fit nicer and won't protrude. They are also painted black. Super 44's and delete tips for the win. Headers and hiflow cats help as well.

If you don't want to pick up additional cabin noise, make sure that you extend the exhaust tips out a bit after you install the new mufflers, that will eliminate the drone from the louder exhaust. 1 1/2 to 2 inches should do the trick, just enough to clear the rear bumper.

X2, did Flowmaster Delta 40's at the recommendation of Flowmaster's tech and he was right. Not too loud, great for daily driving including long trips without a headache.

Then go with the Series 40 Delta's. Recommended to me by Flowmaster's Tech Support and they were right! I've driven, ridden in cars with both now and the 40 Delta's have less cabin noise/drone.
