Yes. I've searched. I'm spinning bad on my stock bald BFG's. They dont seem to like 454hp too much.
I want something thats gonna stick on the track like a DOT drag radial, but from what I gather, only sizes availeable are for the widened rim varieties. I wanna stick to my stock rim size for now.
My fronts are new BFG stockers BTW.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Stock rim?
Bummer....best I can suggest is the Nitto 420s light truck tire.
I ran low 11's with them in a pinch, and I throw quite a bit more to the rear. ;)

2 things for a track set up.
1.) Widen a set of stock rear wheels to 9 1/2" <---- This is a MUST for the track. Anything else is a waste of time.
2.) Put a set of Mickey Thompson 305/45/18 drag radials on.
Done.
Anything else will be a run around, and possible disappointment.
Make sure you keep your stock rear wheels and tires for the street if you are a daily driver.

The problem is most racing wheels and tires are 15 inch in size. You become extremely limited when looking for a 18 inch tire solution. I am not a big fan of the drag radial. I currently own 3 sets of rear racing wheels/ tire combinations. I am researching new custom centerline wheels and low profile rear calipers. You can have all the horse power in the world but if you can't put it to the ground it's a total waste.

You are right about that one.....I use the MT drag radial last year and they worked everytime i dont think i spun all year...Im on the fence about the ET Street cheater slicks now. I like that 9.5 width i have now on my widen wheels and to be honest i like that for my street rim and im being lazy to send another set out to get widem ....Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the agony lol time is tiocking thou.

I am fine with BFG Drag Radials on the stock rims... unmodified.
