Supposedly, a '05-06 Escape 6 disc 'audiophile' radio is a direct plug in for the MM...everything works incl. fact sub, (also has MP3/SAT capability too); except the changer in the trunk, but you gain an in-dash 6 disc anyway.

I bought one from a Grand Marquis. It works great. I do have the old one that lost radio reception. I guess that they can be rebuilt. I serched it out and found the thread about it. I bought the other one for a lot less than the rebuild.
