Is it just mine or does everyone's Marauder fail to light the Temperature light on the dash during the bulb test process before and during engine crank?

Not too big a deal since we have a temp gauge but still how does one know the LED works?

On a similar but more important note, damn Ford for not giving us an Oil light on the dash with respect to the fake Oil gauge. Now that I hate?

I don't believe it does.

According to the wiring diagram, there's no reference to the temp warning light for the Marauder dash, only the feed for the temp gage. Oddly enough, the regular analog dash for the CV/Marquis doesn't show a temp warning light either, which almost implies that all 2003 CV/Marquis come with a temp gage (since the diagram includes a temp gage as the only connection to the temperature sender). Is this the case?

Pretty sure temp gague has been std on full size Ford products since mid 80's. My '90 Country Squire has it, and I seem to recall one on my brothers '00 Crown.

I'm pretty sure ford started the temp guages in 90 as my 89 marquis doesn't have it. 90 is when they changed the dash to accept air bags. That dash ran thru at least 93 right across the body and drivetrain changeover in 92.
