Coming back from Vegas yesterday I catch up to what looks like a Roush, sure enough it was. A Stage 1 Vert. My dad has a Roush and its heavy as hell, and the 1's don't have a blower. So I figured what the hell...

meanwhile wife is laughing at me...

Get up next to him and goose it. We're already going 80 so I'm just rollin with the OD off....

He nails it and we're off. The cars were side by side. Once i hit about 4500rpm on the tach the MM started inching away. (he was at my rear door) We hit about 125mph and I hear this loud rattle/grind from the Roush and he slams on the brakes. I look back and his lower lip on the front bumper fell off!!!!

Damn I love this car. :)

Around here every stage one i've seen are V6's. It's only an appearance package. 2's are suspension, and all of stage 1, and 3's are the fun ones.

i didnt even know they did stage 1 v6's...

most all roush mustangs are v8. 02 or 03 roush did a appearance package for the v6 stangs but thats about it.

I never saw the point in adding extra weight to a car by slapping a body kit on it.

Yeah, last year the local ford dealer had one stage 3, and three stage 1's. BLEW my mind when I saw all three were 6 poppers! Why in the world would you put an appearance package on a six cyl. mustang when at every block there is an R/T, Vette, name the car and you will see it around here in about two minutes! There's even a lambo/Ferrari dealer. This is not an area that plays nice when it comes to cars, and I wouldn't get caught dead in that thing. Nice kill, you have more at the wheels than an average GT and there's no telling what else they have had done. Way to represent!
