View Full Version : Maxxed out
Driving on rt.50 west yesterday in the fast lane doing 80mph and some a$$#0le in a maxima starts tail gating me :stupid:
So i move over in the HOV lane and increase to about 90mph and guess who follows still trying to ride my back bumper? :shake:
Now im doing 100mph and hes still there. At this point i say F•ck it and put the hammer down and the car rockets to 140ish and i look in my rear view mirror and this dude looks like hes frozen in time :drink: I easily put like 15 car lengths on him :burn:
He then gets out of the HOV lane and disappears back into traffic with his tail between his legs. :hide:

I suspect that when you slid left into the HOV lane, the Maxima dude took that as a sort of challenge from you. I probably would have moved right and let the A-hole pass and run interference for me. :D US50 east and west tend to have a higher State Police presence .... no need to risk a high speed stop.
Guess his car wasn't capable of doing 140 and he MAXXED out at 100mph :hotrice:

These cars are pretty good once you get up to speed. Had a friend catch me on some unnamed highway in some unnamed southern state once. He has a pretty stout Lightning, runs 7's in the 1/8. Anyway, we were rolling about 60-65 when he says go, I walked him (super charger and all) till my lack of testicular size made me lift.

Say hello to my commuting life down here in the ATL......
I roll the left lane, and come up on sleeping traffic, and the ppl. I pass then wake up in whatever lane they are in, catch up never stay a reasonable distance off my bumper, like I do when I hit the patch of traffic.
Nope jump right on my butt, like I'm the one thats holding up the show.
ppl. are so sheep like behind the wheel(I think sheep have more awareness tho).
I think about getting right, letting them pass and riding their bumper like they are doing to me, but figure the spectre of our bumper in their rear view probably would slow them to a snails pace, and lengthen my commute. Sooooo just drop the hammer and sort it out that way.
Found a few that can hang.....Sort of. None that can beat the Banshee. Nice goin DooM:banana2: Gotta let them guys know they need to be careful around our American Mercedes.:burnout:
