Okay..this has me stumped. when i first got the marauder my car would downshift to 1st from a 40 or so MPH roll, sometimes even like 42. I got a tune and this stayed true. However, over time i am noticing that i have to be going slower and slower to get a 3-1 downshift. Im down to almost 30 MPH. If im going around 40 now the shift will only go to 2nd and sorta bog down. The wierd thing is that when this happens and im in mid bog, i can simply let up on the gas and the car slowly becomes a rocket. I've been told that its my fuel pump and that when i try to go wide open im getting way more air than fuel and letting off the pedal slowly evens out the mixture. I was also told that it could be due to a bad torque converter, for reasons beyond my understanding since i dont really understand how TC's work. Why is my WOT slowly becoming weaker. Before someone tries to smart a$$ me, its not the rims and i know that for a fact. So, can someone help me out with this? Has anyone noticed a similar problem? I am going to replace my fuel pump and TC but i would rather do it because i want to, not because i have to.

Have you changed the fuel and air filters since this started happening?

I am having simialr issues...

My guesses are either bad COP or fuel pump...

I have replaced my plugs, cleaned the TB, IAC, and I have a new belt, tensioner and 3 idler pullies...

Mine has never downshifted above 35-36 MPH. Stock and tuned.
