I want a comfortable ride but a good perfomance ride as well. By no means do I want to sacrifice perfomance for comfort! Any ideas....?

But I hear that if you keep your "unit" to close it gets to hot and you can lose sp... count...errr something like that.

Don't matter, I got the ol' snippy snip. Come to think of it, THAT might be the best suspension upgrade ever, lol.

I'd go with Eibach springs to lower the front end a bit (I also put KYB gas adjust shocks on it) and you can raise or lower the rear air suspension with an adjustment under the car.
I have this set up and like it quite a bit. I havent ridden around with anyone having the Metco bars or any other suspension add ons yet. With the set up I have it was a blast to go autocrossing

Eibach springs can be too hard and OEM shocks are a lot better than KYB. KYB back in the day made a good product but as of late their quality has lacked.

I would do with this^^^. Only reason I haven't lowered my car some is because I run oversized large snow tires and have just enough clearance as the car sits now, don't want stuff to rub.

I agree you want performance and comfort go with stock shocks over the KYBs. Had them on my 04 and they felt softer than stock and allowed more body roll. Once I added the Metcos and rear sway bar it helped but the KYBs were still too bouncy.

Addco anti-roll bars
Metco control arms & watts link.
QA1 Adjustable shocks and struts, with QA1 springs.
Very good suspension. I got the 8 way Compression & Rebound adjustable shocks, and height adjustable struts. It's stiff, and firm, but not harsh. Not cheap either, but worth every penny. Rich sent me the Summit Racing part #s, and it's 90% bolt on parts for Mustangs. I had to get 2 parts fabbed up to fit it the Marauder, but it was worth it!

Share the Summit #'s for the shocks please! I have a couple of leakers I need to replace.
I also have a pair of the QA1 front springs for anyone who wants them.

Complete rear set of single adjustable. Same as the summit link but complete rear set for $350 instead of 1 shock.

I would buy both for the price of 1.
Edit: I took another look at the Summit link and I see the picture shows the single knob but notes say double adjustable.

That explains the price difference. The joy of double adjustable is worth is IMHO.

To much for me to screw up. I don't autocross with the MM so the singles would be fine for the occasional trip down the 1320. Plus I don't want to screw with adjustable coilovers in the front. Had a bad experience on an old car of mine and swore never to use them on a street car again. Thats why I will stay stock up front, maybe cut a coil maybe not.
I recently saw that Sachs make shocks for the Crown Vic, and know the are good on the German cars, but I can't find a dealer who sells the CV ones.

The stock Tokiko shocks don't match up well with the Eibach springs. I guess it's a relation of damping rate to spring rate. The Eibachs and KYBs, however, work very well together. Can't speak to quality of KYB shocks too much. I've only got about 5,000 miles on mine, but they're working great so far.

Do those addco bars use the balljointed links to the spindle? They aren't a move back to the dark ages with bushing links to the control arms, are they?

No. They actually use the stock linkage on the front. The Addco front kit is the bar, bushings on the frame and plates to hold the bushing on the frame only. For the end links, you have to re-use the factory ball jointed stuff.
The rear kit comes with new bolts and nuts.
Well worth the $$$.
