I'm in love!!! I went over that car from top to bottom. Whoever worked on it as a mechanic (it was an undercover car) took meticulous car of everything! I only had one major problem though! I couldn't figure out how to get it up to my bedroom so I could sleep with my arm around her! I've allready taken her to ProTreePerformance to see about an SCT tuner and some dyno tunes. I think i'll start on some mods today...

Did you wash her the first day you got her???
I washed mine everytime she got dirty for the first 3 years, and if she wasnt dirty she got washed at least once a week. Now not so much....still everytime she gets dirty but now when she is not its about once every couple of weeks...I think it has more to do with the heat here....34 days so far of 100+ degrees....in 1998 we had 36 days of 100+ degrees....we are gonna shatter that record this year easily....but as I was saying....because its so darn hot out...I dont wash here nearly as much as I had the first 3 years.

Yup! Washed, waxed, vinyl and leather treatment... I was dripping with sweat! It was so humid I had to wring my tshirt out after! So well worth it though! It's funny driving it around too. I'm really not sure how many people thought I was an undercover officer (we have a silver undercover MM as well as Impalas in town). I swear some were looking around their cars to make sure nothing illegal was out in the open!!! :D

I'm very happy for your purchase as I remember mine only a few months ago. You are in for the "GOOD TIMES". I'm not sure about putting it in the bedroom though. Ha! Ha!

What town uses Marauders? Did they auction the car off? I only wish that there was a PD in MI that uses Marauders. It would be a cheaper way to get another one.

The only thing more exciting than getting the Marauder is getting to drive it with a proper trans tune on it! Congrats

Try to get the VIN to the SB undercover MM in the town if you can get close enough.

Whats an undercover car?
All the detectives have unmarked vehicles that have lights in the grill and back head rest. They typically wear suits instead of uniforms too. Here they have one MM that I know of and lots of chevy Impalas. Mine is an ex undercover car. They left all the anchor points/brackets for the lights, computer, radio, etc. Sooooo... Check this out! I went to Autozone this morning looking for black high temp paint for the calipers and I get a tap on my shoulder. "Hey, is that your car out front?" "uh, yeah..." "I have one too!" "nahhh" Check out the pics!! Too funny!

Hi and welcome! It's great to have another member in love with this great car. :lovies: You will be crazy-in-love when you get her tuned! Got married in Jackson and we drive my Silver Birch up to Concord area to visit my in-laws every now and then. What part of New Hampshire are you in? Congratulations on a lifelong love affair.;)

Well, I had planned on going to NE Dragway tonight to run her and get some stock times before I start modding. Darn rain... Southern NH, Nashua Ms. Denmark. First time being able to grab this handle, was RacerXHG on TCCOA for many years Embassy and BigCars4Ever. So I'm not going to mod the valve body in the tranny. I've been advised by my techs to go with 4.10s and an SCT tune, they'll change the computer for better shifts. CAI, cat deletion with my MIL elims. Eventually a SC. I'll have to do more research. What a great car though! She purrs great. Luckily I'm a computer tech and have garages and that performance center that I've done a lot of computer work for. I'm getting lots of good advice. From here too of course! Woohoo!!!!
