Is there interest in having a dyno and tuning available at MV7?

Dan,

I voted for "Tuning", but all I really want is some nagging issues with my transmission to be tuned. Dennis' tune on the motor is perfect. Can you factor that into your plans (since transmission tuning is really based on driving around, not on a dyno)?

Darrin can arrange for a dyno on the S side of INDY. As to what day,,,that will depend on how many are interested,

I am still a stock Marauder and want to tune it for sure (and may have money). I like the idea but I can also go to Michigan for an in-person dyno/tune. I would really like to be able to see results of real time tuning on the track Friday.

Is this going to be a reality or just a dream? I want to buy a tune but have been waiting to hear more info on this poll. There is a cheap Reinhardt tune in the classifieds.

This is going to be a reality. We are firming up times with the tuner and will post them up when it is set in concrete.

OK, we NOW have a dyno and tuning available for MV7.

Dyno will be available starting at 9:30 on Friday, Oct. 2nd. For appointments, questions on prices ETC. Please pm DARRIN or call

This needs to go in Marauderville 7 section where more people will see it. I have the dyno reserved all day on Friday and can maybe get it Thursday and Saturday as well.

But, we need people to commit to doing it.

Sorry, I meant that it needed to be in the itenerary or something. I also made a new thread for more coverage.

Also sorry that this was so last minute. It has been in the works for a while but never could get it nailed down until the other day. The original dyno shop I talked to drug their feet on how we would work it and then told me that they wanted to charge a "discount price" of $125 per car for 3 pulls. That is BS so I didn't agree. Thankfully the shop that I really wanted to go to anyway agreed to open their doors for this when initially they had said it wasn't possible due to their race schedule.

That's the reason we couldn't get the shop in Noblesville and closer to where most are staying by the way. There are a lot of things going on that weekend involving both racing and car shows unfortunately.

We definitely have the dyno lined up finally so now it's time to get the participation so that we can use it :)

Hey Darrin, I did PM you but no response. Im interested in a tune. Would you be able to put a tune in my SCT 9100 or am I stuck buying new hardware?
