Well fellow MMs, I had the MM smogged this morning and it passed the California emissions standards, with the Lideo tune active no sweat.
One observation, the 90° rubber hose connecting the PCV valve to the plastic tubing connecting to the intake manifold is partially collapsed.
According to the Master Mechanic, one has to purchase the tube and rubber hose (both ends) assembly from Ford.
Sounds kind of expensive to me…so I plan to check out my friendly auto parts house for a 90° rubber hose.
Any one had to replace this PCV assembly?
Thanks
fred
