the day started early. I may not be first at the track, but I am first at ....

The first Sunday of the month is the Caffiene and Octane cruise in at the "Avenues of East Cobb"

Sooo.........where was everyone:dunno: Cloudy humid morning....rained all night....and was threatening again........but I knew my buddies wouldn't leave me hangin'

That's mine on the far right----David brought his DTR (didn't have a date Sunday Morning....but he did say he came from his girlfriend house:up:)
And talk about dedication----Paul came in all the way from Rhode Island (by way of Alabama) and was showing off his new "thru the emblem" CAI (pretty sweet set-up:D) and Glenn with his son brought his Trilogy MM:drive:

And then these MOPAR guys showed up.......................and parked right across from us.

That's Donny's Challenger SRT8 (dripping in Mod $) and the Plymouth Belvedere with none other than----Mr. Martin Ochs:hail:

Then the word got out and all these other people showed up:toast:

This has become a Legendary Monthly gathering.
Heck, even the Michigan State Police knew they needed to check out this diverse display of Horsepower

Here is a cool Hudson Hornet. Like my Nash---resto in progress.

From there we left in perfect formation.........traveled thru Cobb County and since I was bringing up the rear (I was lookin' for that Silver Birch---GAMike)
when we hit the Paulding County Line----I was overcome for the need for speed. A brief but impressive showing of speed between myself and this guy driving a Belvedere----Oh yea, that was Marty leading this pack to MO's Speed Shop.

And from here we got back in formation----headed west and crossed the state line into Alabama.
Now you may have noticed we lost David and his DTR. He was invited, but he said something about another Date and when I mentioned crossing State lines -------- I think there is some problem about crossing state lines with women----I think I learned about that watching "Smokey and the Bandit".
Well anyway......................we ended up at the ALABAMA INTERNATIONAL DRAGWAY in Steele, AL.
