I didn't have much luck finding exactly what I was looking for with a search, so here goes...
Could anyone instruct me on how the entire door panels come off? I need to remove three of them to service windows. The windows in both front doors are moving slowly now, and the driver's side squeaks, so I'd like to lube the mechanisms before things get too bad. Plus, the driver's side rear door, the window is stuck in the fully closed position. I know it's not the switch because I see the volts drop on the voltmeter when I try to open the window (that little gauge is just so handy! :D). I've dealt with this before in my old Lincoln and know how to take care of it, I just haven't a clue as to how to safely remove the door panels. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ah! Thank you. For whatever reason I couldn't find this, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Muchas gracias.

My front windows were slow, too. In the Ford service manual there is a procedure for adjusting the window guides and regulator. The thing I did different was I tightened the window guides when the window was only 2 or 3 inches raised from its lowest position. This setting and lubing the guides made a world of difference to their performance and should take a lot of load off of the window motors and regulators.

Well, I got it all done today. I hammered the motor for the rear left window and now it works like new. But I can't seem to do much for lubing the front left window. It seems that it's the glass that needs lubing near the top of the door, but I'm quite reluctant to place any lubricant up there.

Ledzilla, it's quarter past two... you ought to be in bed.
BTW: I finally figured out how to remove my door panel when I had to replace the seat heater switch. There are some really diabolical designers working at FoMoCo...

I know it's late, but I just got home from a date with a really great woman, and my back is killing me so I can't sleep anyway... Feeling good and bad at the same time. Talk about mixed signals. As for the design, I love the way ours is set up far more than how it was done in my Lincoln. It had those damned pegs or whatever they were. I can take apart the door and put it back together and it stays together, not like the damned doors on my Lincoln. Had to fix a window and the door panel never stayed on correctly afterwards.
