Was searching for a picture of a back of a black MM with both the taillights and back up lights tinted.

Thanks

search "night shade" and you'll find pics of tail lights. Idk if anyone tints their back up lights tho...I wouldn't

Marauder Rick has his blacked out here:

I did the S55 to the taillights. Personally I wouldn't tint the back up lights. I have tinted windows and have a hard time seeing anything out the back window when backing up. If they were tinted I wouldn't see anything at all.

The marauder back up lights are already tinted compared to CV/GM backups, from what I have been told

I'll be running a back-up camera. ;)

Curious, has it even ever been done yet?

Not true........

karter told me that the CV lights are more clear than the MM ones! He knows more about the non MMs than I do and it sounded like a reasonable explanation!

When I did my lights with the S-55 treatment the backup lenses and tail light lenses were not tinted at all.

Go park next to a crown vic and say that again, cause its not true :D.

If your reverse lights look like the ones on the pic of the CV i posted, then someone swapped your trunk panel out

It really doesn't matter if they're tinted or not. I wouldn't black out my tail lights.

no one swapped put my trunk panel unless they did it at night while I was sleeping.....

I'll repeat....

The Marauder tail light and reverse lights are tinted from the factory!

They may be made out of different / better material than the cv, but they are not tinted!

That's what it looked like when I bought it.
I ended up buying new (aftermarket) taillights for it because I didn't particularly care for the taillights being tinted. They were too dark and you couldn't see them, and I think the red in the back breaks things up nicely.

I did leave the taillights tinted.

This is what it looks like now.

tinted reverse lights FTW!!!

Adam, your car looks perfect now!! I dont like tinted tails on the MM, or s55 but i love the tinted reverse lights.

BTW, when I had 3% tint on my car, the reverse lights were useless, infact they were always useless. I had mine just s55.

The slightly night-shaded tail lights and back-up lights are factory installed on all Marauders--no exceptions. THe dark raised areas are after-delivery mods--to look like the S-55. I've known this car since the concept cars--all production cars back-up lights are darker than any factory Crown Vic. Maury

I have pictures of my Marauder parked with CV police cars--the difference is noticable---I have personally seen over 200 Marauders-- I will look at the first press release for the Marauder--I am sure it mentions the tinted lights. I joined this site as # 92 after a year on the original Marauder site---I call you out---are you calling me a liar :( No flame, just a question ??????????Maury

In the 04 Marauder book it states that the "taillights and reverse lights are smoked as much as the DOT will allow"

+1 on this.

I own an '03 Marauder and an '04 CV LX Sport.
The MM taillights AND reverse/backup lights are a darker color/tinted from the factory and this feature has been noted numerous times in Mercury literature and in several threads on this site!
