Thanks. It is a nice car. Air ride, ABS, 5.0HO. Very hi-tech for the day.

I have planned to modify it, but once I bought the Marauder that plan went out the window. ;)

SuperMotors (formerly Superford.net) has been having "issues" lately. Can't really complain though, it's a free site.

Marauder rims would look cool on the Mark.

I owned a Mark VII while living in BR, LA. It also was silver with a black interior and a LSC model. The engine was great with good power. Air bags went bad on it.

common issue. My older brother had one and LOVED it though.

Marauder rims look good period. no matter what they are on.

I had a 1989 LSC. First the front bags gave out, then the trans grommet snapped causing me to lose O/D. Then the ABS & brake system went out. Eventhough my wallet hated that car with a passion, I loved the way the seat fit me and the way it handled. Every time I see one for sale, I ponder the thought. Good luck!

It is a fun car. Looks like I'll be hanging onto it for awhile. That's bad, cause I know I'll start modifying it if I keep it very long. lol

I know that this is an old thread.

But,

I wanted to add that I had an '87 LSC.

I had a business trip scheduled from north Jersey to Rochester/Lake Canadaigua, NY, (worked for a Xerox subsidiary at the time, Xerox Financial Services).

Made a deal with my boss that if he'd let me bump up my rental car status, I'd drive and save the airfare. (Good deal since I had to rent a car in Rochester anyway.)

He said OK, and I rented one of these Lincolns.

Great trip, great car, great memory.

I junked my '86 LSC...

Of course it was a rusty northern turd and I only bought it for the HO 5.0...

I made my LSC into a donor vehicle for a 1989 Mustang GT Conv w/o an engine.

That car was donated to the Goodwill because it (per the sales list) "needs transmission?". Of course the TV cable grommet had broken (big shock!). I replaced the grommet and crossed my fingers. Luck was on my side, OD wasn't toast. I had the headliner replaced and tuned it up and it was good to go. Drove it for a year or so and doubled my money on it. :)
