NO Way - polished tubes and Turbo for under $1,000. This is a universal kit. NO way will it fit a MM without a tremendous amount of work. Stay away - far way.

"May necessitate light modification to fit"
That might be the understatement of the week........

It also says:
"The install is simple and most customers install it themselves in a weekend."
I'm not so sure about that...

I'm pretty sure those are the kits that the parts are made in China. The turbos are crap and fitment may be a bit of an issue, but not as much of a problem as the overall quality of the kit.

Headers, fuel pump, injectors and blow thru MAS will be needed also. Another $2000 worth of parts.
Then the labor to custom fit everything if you can't weld and ****.
Plus tuning.
Fail.

Selling just the Turbo and intercooler for under $1,000 would be one 'heckuva' deal!
I'm confident that based on the kit's price a set of custom headers would be @ $275.

Actually, I find this quite tempting.

Thank you. Exactly what I was thinking.
If it doesn't make the 485 rwhp at 9-10 psi or less, the system is a piece of crap. If it was a quality turbo and intercooler for 1000 bucks, that is a deal. Finding someone to route/fab the hot piping for you, good luck. And you do not need a blow thru.

Honestly, if I hadn't allready bought the Trilogy then I would have allready bought this. Atleast to try it. I love fabbing and don't mind down time. A good tune would definately be in order, but I think for this price you could afford a couple breakdowns and still come out way on top. Not to mention I'm sure there is better stronger rebuild parts available for when that happens. For the price its worth a try. I was actually quite tempted to remove the Trilogy and fiddle around with this and be the first ginnie, but I just had an expensive driveway laid today and now spending more money is about the last thing on my mind.

also that turbo is WAY too small for a single setup on our engines. That is an OK size for a Honda 4 cylinder. Our motors would need two of those and probably still max out.

That is what I was thinking.
Turbos are NOT 'one size fits all' products.
What size turbo is it?
What is the A/R ratio?
What does the compressor map look like?
Do the bearings have a coolant jacket?...just oil cooled?
