Last year Chapel1/Gary invited the crew to come out and attend. Mest30, Motorhead, Mike, myself and Gary all had a blast. Hopefully he'll chime in and have spot saved for us like he did last year. Come one come all!!!!!

St. Laurence High School Car Show in Burbank
Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Location: St. Laurence High School 5556 W. 77th Street Burbank, IL 60459

Description: This is another brand new event for Showcase but it is the 10th annual Car Show for St. Laurence Father's Club. If you haven't attended this show in the past it has everything going for it. Great food including burgers, dogs, polish, Italian sausage, pizza, nachos, popcorn and even ice cream will be available and a beer tent that opens at noon. Last year they gave goody bags to the first 200 vehicles. The money raised will benefit families that experienced a death of a parent while enrolled at St. Laurence. Guy Goldman, Drew Steinbach and Jim Muting invite everyone to this major event for a good cause. The Show location is on blacktop at 77th & Central Avenue. Enter the north parking lot off Central Ave. 'A don't miss event this summer.'

Fees: $20 registration,
Free admission to public

So far I'm assuming myself, JustBob, BradleyG, and of course you/Gary. Sanco said he may stop by, waiting for Dom, ChitownMarauder, UncleLar etc... Come on guys probably one of the last car shows left for the year. Where are all the WINDY CITY MARAUDERS guys? ^^^

hey guys i definitelly cant stay till 5pm, probably 3 the latest. i dont know how well will that play out? i guess ill just park off the show grounds if theres parking.

I was thinking the same thing? If we can get along the fence like we did last year I think we can leave early if we want? I'll call Guy and see if we can get the same area we had last year. But I think it would be a good idea to arrive in force at the same time.

BTW where is that White Castle at again and what time did we all meet last time to "WolfPack" it to the show. Last year worked out just fine and I say we do the same this year!

... this was last years post and I met Gary there. From my understanding it's easier to come as a group and park together. I will be at White Castle tomorrow and will probably depart around 8:45ish. Hope to see ya guys there, or I'll see ya at the St Laurence entrance.

Thats the kind of crap that I am quite sick of dangling over my head!!!

Yep,good people,and lot's of nice cars,AND the rain provided us with some nice wet t shirt viewing,lol.Too bad Dom didn't make it,I'd have taken him over to the blonde biker chick so she could give him some "personal instruction".

Bob won a 3rd place trophy in Modified 2000 Bracket and I won a 3rd place for stock 2000 bracket. Bob;s score sheet had a judges comment "thats a real Mercury" and on mine wrote "Hot in Black"

Its been off since Kentucky:alone:My painter is/was going to repaint.......again........... anyways he's a really good friend of mine and I just can't push a friend. Perhaps someday i'll get it back???


Anyway a HUGE thank you to Gary and Sanco for trying there very best to help me save my tent in what I heard rumored to have been a microburst that stormed through!! It was VERY VERY bad out and we got soooooaked! Looks like the tent might live to see another day. Two broken support rods that I rewelded (or tried to atleast) and some spray paint when I got home.

Gary, I am amazed how you spent all that time cleaning up UNDER your car, cleaning the exhaust and rearend and such. I guess that I just don't have the time or I probably would also LOL.

Sanco, Nice to see you as always, hope your testing comes back in your favor!

Drew, Sorry you had to cut out and miss the fun tent moment.... Atleast you got soaked when you came back!

UncleLar, Sure wish you woulda entered old Red. Good to see you non the less!

And Ryan, sorry I got nothin.........J/K bro thanks for coming out and showing your support, and taking the winning photo before the next downpour!

lol drew, congrats guys on the win!! i think larry would have spanked all of us if the red sled was in the competition! lol i think the clothes i wore today at the meet are still wet from the freakin rain. i feel so left out in my crown vic :( but like i said, it was a great time with a great bunch of people and i think more importantly that is what its all about!!!

Looks like a GREAT show guyz!! SORRY I missed it -- AND this entire thread about it too!! :bows::lol: The Army has me on the road and GONE to places I don't wanna be all this summer!! UGH! I've made a FEW events...I'll check in for sure next time I make it around Chi-Town!! I'm hoping to make the Event in early OCT in Indy for sure!! How many of you all can make that??
