We just pulled in from Woodward. It was a great event as always. We have reservations for OC for Friday evening at the Hilton. We are staying at least through Saturday. Not sure about Sunday yet.

Talked to Jay and changed hotels. I made a reservation request for the Flagship (waiting on confirmation). We are able to stay an extra night, Friday through Sunday now.

On their website, there is an entry form for the car show there... that's what it's really all about, btw....

High-C/Chris hasn't visited the site for about a month (29 Aug) and his last post on 22 July mentioned the better crab place. Nothing since. Hope he's OK.

We won't make it to this year's event.
Marianne and I were really looking forward to seeing everyone, and taking a mini-vacation at the beach.
Marianne can't get off work on Friday and Saturday is the only weekend day this Fall that I can get an important project done.
Sunday - day trip, is too late as everyone is leaving town by then...:(

I came back home because I had a investigate to respond to. I stayed at Dewey for a couple of nights. Hoopers craps are the best.:D

It is at 130th st; we lined up behind firehouse. Anybody up for this ?

If it is the same stuff that was in Missouri today, it is gonna be a wet one. Been raining all day here and the roads look like rivers. Wet, wet, wet .... hope this clears up before I make the drive to STL tomorrow.

I was there in the Red Dodge. You didn't stop eventually 3 other Marauders stopped by including Impalaslayer with the Eaton installed for a look see. We all left about noon.

Sunday turned out to be a really nice day after all. Weather kind of lousy Friday and Saturday. Met up with JaBird56 in Waldorf for the cruise to OC. Met up with Jay and RichC for dinner. Met up with my daughter for the day on Saturday and Jay, VKirk, Rich Long and Michelle for dinner at Fagers Island. That place rocks!
Spent some time at the inlet checking out the cars and walking the boardwalk. What I thought was going to be a bust "automotively"... (Yeah, I just made that word up), was salvaged today. Could have been much better but there was an excellent turn out in spite of the rain.

YOU BET! We were at the beach bar last evening and watched the sunset, MyTMerc's daughter was working the beach bar yesterday. Had a good time lookin' at the classics yesterday even in the drizzle, and good camaraderie Friday and Saturday nights at Fager's Island. We kinda missed each other at Duffy's Saturday morning since we didn't have any set time to meet. Out and back on one tank of gas.

YOU BET! We were at the beach bar last evening and watched the sunset, MyTMerc's daughter was working the beach bar yesterday.
We've been to Fager's Island several times. Used to stay at a condo right there at the end of 57th street between the Lighthouse Hotel and Fager's. Very nice location on the bay side. Also used to have a blast on jet ski's out on the bay with the kids.
