What do you guys think about the these for winter/snow use on the Marauder? They're light truck/suv tires, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work. I was thinking of 255/55 in back and 235/50 in front. I run Michelin Pilot Alpine PA2 tires on my Mustang GT in the winter and they're great. Thoughts?

We run some sort of Pirelli Scorpion something M/S and they worked out well last year. The exact name escapes me and they are buried at the back of the garage. The only thing you might investigate more is how they might handle on a large sedan as the reviews are all SUV's. I would call tire rack and ask, they have some knowledgeable people there.

That's a really good suggestion. I'll do it and let you all know what they report. Thanks!

235-55-17 LM2 Blizzaks (V Rated) are on closeout at the rack - $99 ea.
I bought 4 of them, might be some left

Edit: those look nice but at $187 are bit pricey. Probably better than the Bilzzaks

Thinking about snow tires in August, booooooo.

Anyway, they look decent. The availability of 18" snow is a real challenge. I was actually thinking about a 225/60/18 deep lug tire for the rears since my current snows are getting a little worn down.

Scott, your car is not allowed to see snow. Spend the money on the Bronco II mont is selling instead.
