I currently have over 118K miles on my WalBro fuel pump that I got with my ProCharger kit!! Although WalBro says they don't recommend these pumps in returnless systems...it lives on and is working fine!!

My question is do these pumps have fuel intrusion to where the internals actually run in fuel?? I can't imagine they could be sealed well enough to stay "Dry" for years immersed in fuel??:shake:

If they are lubricated by fuel perhaps I've contributed to it's long life by putting upper cylinder lube in the gas at every fill up??;)

Curious!!

No, the motor internals stay dry. Fuel both cools and lubricates the pump.

Very hard to believe with the surface tension of gasoline being much less than water!!:shake:

Does it have a magnetic coupling so the motor can be totally sealed??
