The heat-sink fins on DR's look bigger and it's less expensive. I've always preferred bottom drain to side drain anyways so that's the one I'd go with.

I've got the DR pan and happy with it.

If I were to do it again I would go with the E350 pan

I see yours has been leaking and weeping some. I know mine has been weeping a little bit also.

I own the PML. No leaks, nice thick flange, no problems. Click the picture link in my sig to see it. What is that big nut in the middle of the DR pan? Looks like in one pic it's s***** off?

The PML pan has drain on the side so it isn't the lowest point (won't get sc***** off)
PML pan is +3QTS what is the "DR" pan fluid cap?

I would get which ever one is least expensive.

I got mine from Darrin @ BC Automotive (Site Vendor).

Looks like a hex head plug.

It has also oxidated quite a bit, I might ad that the car has not been driven in the winter and rarely in rain. And it's been parked under a carport.

Yes, with the 4,6L motor. (I think DR sells them)

I got a B&M pan, it was cheaper than both of those, $140 I think, has good size fins, keeps the fluid at a good temp, and 2 years later isn't weeping or anything...

Get the E-350 pan with the drain plug.....the extra capacity and fins are no advantage.....ask me how I know!!

I mapped my temps and it takes a little longer for the fluid to get up to temp but it runs NO COOLER than stock!!:shake:

Don't waste your money on bling that only you will see!!

Add an Oil Cooler along with that Pan and you will. ;)

I did and it's about 10* cooler now but probably would be the the OEM pan too??

I spent the money and I think it's a waste...I would not recommend it to anyone with so many more useful mods out there!!:shake:

Sorry!!

I dunno I used to have heat issues, prob in part due to the converter, been almost 2 years since the deep pan, no extra cooler, my temps have been good to go, drag racing, auto-x and even in traffic so far.

I have the DR pan and love it, no issues what so ever. :)

i have the one from dr and its OK, issues that stand out are:

the plug that it came with was a pos and stripped out (allen head) the first time i went to take it out so if you do go with that one throw the plug it comes with in the trash and replace with a normal pipe plug (1/8" pipe plug i belive)

as shown in prior post, my pan is pretty oxidated as well and the bolts are rusty, not a big deal since its uder the car.
