Currently i am without mufflers and its nice and loud but now i'm looking for a nice deep tone (but still loud). I did a search under thrush mufflers and all i came up with was the cherry bomb style.
i found 2 different Thrush mufflers that interested me. Chambered and straight through Turbo style. They are dirt cheap at $29/$23 each. So I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these?

Turbo

also found this X-pipe that i think should work.

my plans include removing rear cats, installing my SLP shotgun Resonators in place of rear cats, then that flowtech xpipe and then thrush mufflers into stock tailpipes with delete tips.
any advice on that setup? changes? suggestions?
thanks

I own a exhaust shop and have used the thrush chamber mufflers on alot of cars.
it's a good muffler. The turbo is to. the turbo will be on the quiet side where the chamber muffler will give you the noise.

I remember I threw away my catalytic converter and put dual pipes and Thrush Hush mufflers on my brand new 1979 F-100 Ranger XLT (yep, that long ago) and they burbled quite nicely. Actually Im suprised to learn they are still around.

But the sound they produce is lovely. I drive around a lot more with all my windows down just to hear the bellowing echo of them bouncing off everything.

I have the two chambered welded on my car now. Put them on about 4-5 months ago IIRC. They are aluminized so there is no corrosion.....yet....

All they are is a cheap Flowmaster 40 knockoff. Thinner steel and made in China. I probably wouldn't buy them again based on the fact they are made in China.

Political opinions aside, they do sound good! Not as good as the Aero Turbines but hey I got mine for 50 bucks for the pair shipped so I can't complain!

The thrush turbo is a low budget, 2 pass tube muffler. They are very quiet, I have run them on a few different cars. Its basically a walker cheap replacement muffler except with larger than stock pass tubes. The largest pass tube thrush uses on the turbo is 2.25. If you buy 2.5" they just have flared out necks on the end but the same 2.25 pass tubes.

what isn't made in china these days? that doesn't bother me. i no they are a low budget muffler and its obvious by the $23 price tag. I know that i get bored of the same sound and change up my exhaust alot so i don't need to be spending 200+ on a set of mufflers that i might end up hacking off 6 months from now.

Dynomax has a "safe and sound guarantee" if you hate the sound you can return them for your money. You have 30 days to decide.
