Hey guys, I've been looking to get some new headlights for my Cougar. Usually my boyfriend just takes care of all of my car stuff, but we just recently broke up. I've never bought car parts online before so I have like no idea what I'm doing. Does anyone have any for sale? I've been looking at getting some new hid headlights (http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/) at this website, but I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not? Has anyone ever purchased from them before? Or could someone recommend a good place to get some? Thanks a ton!

2004? Cougars were last made in 2001.

Try this place.
www.oemqualityparts.com (http://www.oemqualityparts.com)
The parts are pretty good and the prices are reasonable.
I bought from them for my '96 T-Bird.
(Just do yourself a favour and check to see what year your car is...they didn't make them in '04).

When I had my 96 Cougar I hung around on TCCoA,heck I even attended the 2002 MN-12 Nationals with the only Bostonian there.Be aware htat a one year "membership" at Thunderbird Cougar Club of America was at least $40 last time I checked, but there is a LOT of good info there.Matter of fact that's where Jerry W posted the J Mod originally.

If it is an 01 (or the extremely rare - never produced 04) they will not know anything about it on TCCOA, they are dedicated to the RWD platforms that ended in 97 for the T-bird and Cougar, and 98 for the Lincoln Mark. Most of them consider the 97 the last real cougar produced.
