thats correct. in '05 i wrecked my '97 town car with 56k miles. they said $2500 @ first then days after $3200 then finally gave me $3800 for the car. i kno it cant compare to your ride, but they be hustlin like that.

Mike just called me, he is rethinking to not buying the car back and just let the insurance company take it because too many people are backing out of their deals with him, he was very skeptical of buying the car back in the first place because he thought people might back out on their deals, I said no the people on the site will come through! Guess I was wrong!

I'm at work so it is hard to follow all the PM's but, it appears to me the major items I thought were a done deal are now or maybe not sold.
I could have had 6k plus in my pocket days ago now I don't know whats going on, who's coming, who's taking what.. and it is going to rain.

I don't have the means to ship the big items and I was not planning on it either. Most big items (enigine, hoods, rearend, interior etc..) were sold to people who were to pickup on Saturday and most are not coming or have backed out now in the past 36 hours.

Looks like we have a fair amount of guys still coming but- for what, the smaller items that are not going to make the 6k cut I need to get asap.

I have not made the offical deal with the insurence co but I do have the car back and we already started stripn it down meaning we would have to put her back together inorder for the insurence to take it back.

So either way I exspect people to show.

I never said I wasnt taking them. Once Mike gives me a total with shipping, He'll have his payment the same day. Just plans of heading up to Boston were cancelled.

I don't think my hoist will fit in the Fusion...it's a lot bigger than I remember. I don't have a problem lending a hand to pull parts, but the weather is looking pretty crappy...

I wouldn't remove anything until it's a done deal Mike. I may be wrong, but I thought your car was appraised/insured for the actual value? The insurance company would note the sheet with a parts list i'm sure.

Well I think it would fit in my Jeep maybe but, people coming at 8am, my jeep is loaded with stuff and huge air compressor I need a hand getting out, I have to pick up the 2 10x10 tents I rented by 930am as well.
Not enugh time for me to go to you and back.

We will have to get by without it, I guess. I'll make some local calls.

Yes it has a load leveler and a great chain..... took a v6 from the Ranger with EASE!!!!

your headers are fine but my nerves are shot from trying to get the last frickin bolt off that was frozen and behind the tube and the stud wouldn't allow a box end and it was pouring and water was running down the crack of my azz and Adams butt was hanging out cuzz he ripped his jeans and and and.....hehehe

Got home at midnight last night. Ugg. They closed the NYS Thruway about 70 miles from my exit. So I did a U-Turn and had to "bushwack" my way home with trans and tc in my trunk. Ugg.

Trunk lid is mint - I helped take it off and carried into dry protected storage.
Nice one of a kind KB trunk lid. Good thing you got the SC as you better have some power under the hood with a lid like that...
