Hey, I'm interested in coming up and seeing some of you folks and your Marauders...

What is the address of the one in Avon (I think?)
When do you meet next?

What is the address of the one in Sheffield Lake? 4900 Transportation Dr.
Sheffield Lake, OH 44054

(take I-90 to exit 148, it's immediately adjacent to the freeway)

When do you meet next? I'll wait until someone from that side of town chimes in. I thought it was kind of a weekly thing though.
I won't be there for a bit though, as I am on a month of afternoon shift starting THIS Sunday (3-11pm and working Sundays).

My next available cruise to QS&L will be 9/20/09.

Welcome Benwin!

I haven't been there since the end of June, too busy, too hot... But we'll get there again soon, I'm sure. Just watch this thread for a post when we're getting together.

BTW, you'll get off Rt. 2 at Rt. 254, turn left and immediately get into the right lane. Transportation Dr. is directly across from the entrance to Mike Bass Ford.

Hope to see you some Sunday afternoon, we usually get there about 4:30-5:00.

Ken

Thanks for the reply, Ken.

I added you to AIM.

How many marauder guys are usually there on any given weekend? I'm really anxious to see one in the flesh, and talk to another owner. I've only ever seen one with my own eyes, and that was as it passed me at ~100 on the turnpike...

I try to make it up there every Sunday afternoon...but I've missed out on a few because of work schedule. If the weather is good, and I'm not working a midnight shift...I'll be there.

I saw Ken's Marauder at QS&L today!

I was up there around 4:30 or so, and there were no Marauders, so my friend and I went to Crocker Park, drove around for a bit, and headed back home (to Sandusky)... Well, since QS&L is about 600' away from Rt. 2, I decided to drive through the show one last time for good measure...

AND OMG

I WANT A MARAUDER NOW!

I've never seen one in person before today... but, wow... I want one so bad...

Awesome! I've been wanting to see a S/C Marauder in person! Maybe Ken will show up today! :D:banana2::D:banana2:

It'll be closer to 5:15 when I get there. I'm waiting on a friend from Dayton to drive up before we head up that way.

What's wrong with it? I hope you're just making it faster!

The all black Behr brakes finally bothered me enough to re-coat them to match the rears. It was an all day adventure. I am now going to attempt to do the lettering in black....what a pita...

Besides, I blew off skate practice yesterday, and won't do it again today.
Hockey season starts in two weeks, equipment fitting next week.

Barry, can you get the Behr's in black? Or did you originally have to paint them black?

"part"="weed"...

Go figure, a member of our police force trafficking in drugs...

Can I have some "part", too?

That's exactly what I was thinking LOL!!!
"Part" is a common code name for the ganj indeed.

However...in the case of these two individuals...and both of their high security type of employment...this part in question is most likely 100% NOT smokable!:P

Barry, can you get the Behr's in black? Or did you originally have to paint them black?

They originally came in what I believe to me to be "unpainted metal".
Another member here painted them black with some god aweful cheap paint that not only came off with brake cleaner, but caused the G3 to bubble up in some areas.

I had to sand some areas while still in the process of re-coating which really agrivated me over time.

I did not paint the lettering after all.
Waking up this morning, I decided to treat this situation as if I were at a casino. I won with the coating of the calipers and they look pretty good. Shall I roll the dice again and potentially screw up the small lettering or walk away a winner?

I walked away.;)

The wheels are on, and I drove it to the westside a moment ago.
I take care of a sick relative every Sunday.
If I can bail early without hurting feelings, I'll run up to Quaker for a few minutes before we need to be in Strongsville for ice skating practice.

The sparkle from the blower causes temporary brain damage. You'll be ok in another day or two.
