Well....
I went to church today and the local MoPoPo pulls up next to me and chats me up behind the Burger King, I have not been to church in a month, but you know profiling...and all black Marauders look the same.
Big brother _______ (name delete) says "whatyougot?" I say a "Ford crate motor" he wants to trade cars. I invite him over to to the shade trees where Dr.Mike with his Vortech NY. state police car and a newbie with a car from the
S_____ S_____ that was Kevlar reinforced, cool car. Ken the photographer comes by and has a big pretty 12"X24" pic of Doom driving by slowly on his way home to change his underwear after leaving a bit too quick last week. The cop says "keep the shiny side up".:lol:

Well it's morning and I'm trying to decipher Tom's post too.

Monkey County = Monroe County near Macon Ga. (Tom's home?)

Local MoPoPo = county mounties

Chat's me up = conversation

Big Brother, Dr. Mike and newbie = LEO's and friends joining the chat session.

Kevlar reinforced = an armored state agency car driven by newby

Ken, the photog = showing pictures of Doom burning out from a previous GTG.

Keep the shiny side up = drive carefully and don't get in a wreck that would leave you upside down (so to speak). An old motorcycle phrase used in parting between friends.

Purpose of post = to relate a friendly chance encounter with friends, police and a photographer after church services in the shady groove behind the Burger King somewhere in Monroe County, Ga. and have a chuckle at Doom's miscue, I think. :lol:

Tom does seem to post cryptically at times .....

Here's what I got out of it. Tom went to the "Church of the Holy Donut" yesterday. That's the weekly car gathering on Sunday mornings at the Dunkin Donuts in Burtonsville, MD (Montgomery County, Maryland). Monkey County is reminiscent of the old Baltimorean/Marylander term for Montgomery Wards = Monkey Wards -- many of the old timers might remember this.

One of the local Montgomery County Police (MoCoPo not MoPoPo) approached Tom mistaking his car for another black Marauder. I think the Vortech NY State car is the one that came to the Safford show in June and then followed up over at the Pig Roast at Tom's house.

Seems DOOM might have gotten a little out of shape and squirrely leaving the show last week (or in a previous week) and the incident was captured in a photo. I guess the photographer brought the 12"x24" photo for DOOM's autograph (or maybe for a presentation). Must have been a hairy moment if Tom references changing underwear and the LEO refers to keeping the shiny side up.

Come on Tom .... how close am I to the real story??? :dunno:

OK, I got the wrong state, Tom lists two states in his profile, I even got that mixed up. NC = Ga. There was mention about a church in another message, thought it was a traditional church.
